Youth Ambassador
Youth Ambassador
The OC Next Act Youth Ambassador Program (YAP) was developed in March 2024, during the Lion King Jr. Musical Theater production. Founded by Nica Kelly and organized with Raina Czapski, YAP aims to cultivate exceptional performers who embody respect, attentiveness, and kindness. After its inception, the YAP committee, grades 6th-12th, was established to further support and guide the program's development. By fostering a positive and supportive environment, YAP empowers its members to become exemplary role models within the arts community. Together, they plan outreach, fundraising events and service projects. YAP members are recognized for following the YAP character traits with special STAR awards. These awards are displayed at all musical theater productions for the families and patron members to view.

OC Next Act - Winter Olics and YAP Ice Blocking Festival 2022/2024
In 2022, the Winter Olics Ice Blocking event featured an array of exciting activities, including cardboard car races, ice blocking, and Olympic-style relay games. The event also encouraged families to participate in a charitable drive, donating clothing and nonperishable items to support Ukrainian refugees in need.
Building on the spirit of community and fun, the YAP-Committee Ice Blocking Festival Fundraiser in 2024 brought even more engaging activities. Highlights included water balloon relays, ice blocking, arts and crafts stations, concessions, a 3D printer auction hosted by TAC, and thrilling cardboard box relay races. Both events celebrated creativity, camaraderie, and giving back to the community.
